Welcome, it’s so lovely to have you here.

My name is Emma, I have been around horses my whole life from the age of three when I had my first riding lesson on a gorgeous pony called Pickwick I was totally hooked! – When I haven’t been lucky enough to have my own horses, I have begged and borrowed, just to stay close to these incredible creatures. From leaving school all I knew was that I just wanted to be around them, so that’s what I did! – I was very grateful to work for yards and also coach riders, as well as compete myself in a variety of different disciplines and levels, it gave me a range of really important experiences I still draw upon today. I have always practised Reiki – I grew up with it as my Mum was a Reiki Master so it was totally normal to fix any emotional or physical blocks with a blast of Reiki energy!

I have always felt how important it is that the horse is heard and understood, I have always wanted to help horses however I can and that belief drove me to study and train to become a BHS UKCC3 Accredited Professional Coach and an Equine Reiki Practitioner, I combine this knowledge with a deep interest in Equine Behaviour which drove me to complete an Applied Equine Behaviour Course; that provided me with the real insight I had been searching for as to how we can train and be present around our horses to build a deeper, more meaningful relationships and connections with them, that are mutually beneficial.

I have a herd of six horses and ponies at home in West Sussex and each of them teaches me something new every day! I have successfully rehabbed two of them using a combination of groundwork techniques, management techniques and energy work which I continue to use on all of them on an ongoing basis. They are the best teachers and I love them all dearly.

My aim in coaching you is to provide you with the support of a best friend! It’s important to me that I can provide you with the tools you need so that every experience with your horse is an amazing one and that we work together to get to the root of any challenges you and your horse are facing so you can reach your goals together.

I am insured through the BHS for coaching and through Balens for Reiki treatments. I also hold an Enhanced DBS Check.
